US President-elect Donald Trump has been repeatedly taunting Canadian PM Justin Trudeau about Canada becoming the "51st state" of the US. He's been publicly referring to Trudeau as a "governor" and claiming Canadians are keen to join their bigger neighbour. This comes amid a tariff dispute and political crisis in Canada, and while unlikely, it raises the question if whether Trump’s theory would be at all possible.
