Masked men ransacked the headquarters of Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado overnight as Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro threatened to arrest her. The United States, Costa Rica, Peru, Argentina and Uruguay on Friday recognized Maduro challenger Edmundo González, a Machado ally, as the winner of the disputed presidential vote.
